Originally from the Netherlands, she moved to North Edinburgh twenty years ago and lives locally with her family.
Sanne has long campaigned for safer travel in our area, and has been an active supporter of water quality monitoring at Wardie beach next to Granton Harbour for many years.
She is passionate about energy efficient homes, sustainable travel and environmental action, and is the Net Zero spokesperson for the Scottish Liberal Democrats.
She is a member of the Transport & Environment committee, the Policy & Sustainability committee and sits on the Granton Waterfront working group.
She is a volunteer Board member of North Edinburgh Arts
