Community Safety is very important aspect for any neighbourhood. If you have any concerns about safety in the Granton and District area, please make the Community Council aware. You can hear about monthly crime update coming to our meetings.  Two police officers regularly attends to our meeting. You can discuss or raise any issue such as antisocial behaviour involving youth disorder, housebreaking and other thefts and the worry of becoming the victim of assault  violent crime etc.  Granton and District Community Council fall under North West Edinburgh policing team within Forth neighbourhood partnership. Jimmy is the Area Commander for the North area and is responsible for response policing, performance management and the daily management of personnel.
