The Community Grants Fund (CGF) is now open for applications until 29 June. This small grants scheme by Edinburgh Council awards funding of up to £5,000 to constituted groups for local community activity.
The purpose of the fund is to support local groups to try new things and develop small-scale activities that will benefit or add value to their community.
Awards are decided by community-led funding panels that use their local knowledge to make recommendations about which organisations should receive funding, in line with local needs and priorities. There are 12 local funding panels in each of the neighbourhood areas. For Forth area, a total of £25,258.16 in funding is available (max £5,000 per award).
