Born in Edinburgh and resident of Granton over 30 years. I went to Holyrood High School.
Trained as an electrical engineer and worked for local authority. Changed career followed by diploma degree in Criminology in 1992. Currently working with the special needs children within the education team of the local authority’s children and family department. My volunteering started with SACRO at the young age. I am one of the founder trustee of the Prentice Centre and Granton Youth Centre, been a board member of Royston Wardieburn Community Centre and Spartans. I was involved with the Granton forum prior to the start of Community Council in 2005. I served into different office bearers positions within the Granton and District Community Council since it has begun.
I enjoy football, love nature walking and playing guitar. Lived in Granton with my wife, a girl and 3 grandchildren.
I believe that my experience and humour could make a positive contribution to the work of the Granton and District Community Council.
